Fall 2011 Fashion Week has come and gone in the New York. Overall my reviews are mixed. A+ goes to Rodarte, Jason Wu, and Prabal Gurung. Some designers weren't as lucky. I really like Marc Jacobs (the man) because he seems fun and light hearted. However his RTW collection was filled with poka dot covered victorian pieces. Really? The best thing about the collection was Marc in a blue rubber button down under a gray sweater. Proenza Schouler was another label that missed the mark. Western prairie themed velvet...ummm NO.
